We offer free training, workshops and events throughout the year – both online and in person – for new and existing Storytellers.
To become a Storyteller and discover the power of storytelling, you will need to attend our free core training.
All Storytellers need to attend refresher training every three years.
Air and Shares are not training, but rather a gathering of different Open the Book teams for a chance to AIR questions, concerns and ideas, and SHARE what is going well – testimonies, props and costumes. It is an opportunity to hear the latest Open the Book news, learn what other teams do and be inspired by one another. Storytellers value these special times together.
